About the Role Due to an internal transfer were looking for a Registered Midwife to be part of the maternity and quality safety programme for the Maternity Service Te Whatu Ora - South Canterbury. The role is based within the Quality and Safety team and reports to the District Chief Midwife and is responsible for supporting the maternity clinical quality and safety programme and to provide focus for quality improvements in maternity services. About you The person in this role is responsible for utilising contemporary quality and risk management knowledge and practices to ensure that managers and staff have access to quality and risk management tools and techniques to assist them in decision making and the integration of quality improvement and risk management into service delivery.

Therefore, the successful candidate will be; NZ Fully Qualified Registered Midwife with a current APC and extensive clinical experience Excellent data analysis and report writing skills Have a working knowledge of Ng Paerewa Health and Disability Sector Standards. Desirable that they be working towards a post graduate qualification - such as quality or risk management Working at Health New Zealand Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is the weaving of wellness.
